The opportunity for a trained protection dog is a tremendous benefit as well as an incredibly significant responsibility.  Kelly’s K9s works though a supportive and comprehensive process with applicants.  It includes multiple stages, such as an on-line application, phone screening process, in-person home visit, and background check.  We take the well-being of survivors, and our dogs, very seriously.  Please carefully read all available information about our trained protection dogs, survivor training, ongoing recertification, and additional commitments prior to applying.  If approved, this is a lifelong commitment!​
