Kelly’s K9s relies entirely on the generosity of our donors.   Your gift makes it possible for survivors of domestic violence to reclaim safety, confidence, and independence through trained protection dogs.

Why Your Support Matters

  • The cost to breed, train, and place a fully trained protection dog through our K9 Placement Program is $25,000. This covers everything from careful breeding and early socialization to advanced obedience, protection work, veterinary care, and the match-and-placement process. Every dollar you contribute helps cover essentials such as food, boarding, training equipment, veterinary care, bonding sessions, certification, and follow-up support — all critical to creating a safe, lasting partnership between survivor and dog.

  • Through our K9 Partner Training Program, survivors may bring their own dog for evaluation and, if approved, begin protection-training. The cost for that pathway ranges between 3,000 and 6,000, which covers the initial training program. Depending on the dog’s readiness and suggested number of sessions, the total cost may exceed the initial minimum if more than 24 training sessions are required.

Your Impact

By donating, you’re not just helping fund a program — you’re changing a life. You’re giving a survivor a loyal partner who stands guard, so they never have to face the world alone. You’re investing in courage, healing, and hope.

Donate today and help us build a foundation of safety and strength for survivors and their loyal companions.
